Description
This course prepares you to go deep in a safe way. It is a very demanding 4-5 day course in which you will learn how to safely dive beyond recreational depths into the tech realm.
What you can expect about this course:
- It will be physically and mentally demanding, so expect to be in good shape.
- You will train on the execution of basic skills with a neutral buoyancy at a range of depths.
- As you move through the course, you and your team will be exposed to a number of critical drills and problems under the supervision of the instructor
- Once you get certify you will be familiarised diving with a number of mixtures (25/25, 21/35, 18/45)
- you will be using standard doubles and at least one deco tank of Oxygen or Nitrox 50
- You will certify to dive to a max depth of 48m with one deco tank with a maximum of one oxygen cicle (15min) or 30 min using Nitrox 50
Minimum requirements to start this course:
- Minimum age of 21
- UTD Essential of Tech, UTD Tech 2 with doubles Mini, UTD Techreational or equivalent with assessment
Course structure:
- Self study preparation before starting in class sessions
- Minimum of 32hrs of instruction over 4-5 days
- 8 hrs of lectures and 8 dives
Minimum equipment required:
- Standard doubles rig
- 6L decompression tank
- 11L decompression tank
- one primary reel per team
